Special qualifications:

I am a consultant with a proven ability to provide creative, informed, dynamic, and wide-ranging expertise to advance local, national, and international organizations. Over the last 18 years, I have lead local and international initiatives and organizational scale ups, written nationally distributed college credit grant writing training programs, and advised government on funding development initiatives. I am recognized as an expert in diversified fund and program development, working with communities of color, and highly complex assignments.

My firm's specialty is work force and economic development, international community and water development, and education, though we are experienced in the full range of issues. Government and foundation grant proposal writing is one facet to our services in addition to program and logic model development, outside evaluation, prospect research, policy development, coaching, customized training, strategies for growth, and diversified funding plans.

Philosophy: I believe in a holistic approach to making organizations effective and sustainable in today’s competitive funding environment. Grant seeking should be one component to an overall funding and organizational strategy. My background as a grant administrator and program officer gives me exceptional insight into what grant makers are looking for, what the trends are, and how proposals should be developed and written. I will work as your partner to create grant proposals that will impress government, corporate, and foundation program officers alike.
