Thanks to an internship in a hospital public relations department while I was in college, I fell in love with non-profit work and have spent my entire professional career in the non-profit sector. With over 30 years of experience in development and public relations, I have worked for local, regional and national organizations.
Susan P. Clark Communications, LLC, was established in 2001. Services include grant writing, grant research, direct mail, publications, brochures and other special writing projects, and consultation in public relations and fund raising for small non-profit organizations. Most of the grants I write focus on health, human services and services for the aging.
A member of the PSGA Board of Directors since 1999, I currently serve as Co-President. I have the pleasure of co-chairing this year’s popular Funders Forum, an event I helped create six years ago. I also teach grantwriting at Green River Community College.
I love the endless stories our non-profits have to tell. Every organization has amazing stories about their clients, their services and their passion to help people, animals and the planet. If you need help telling your story—whether it be in a grant, a direct mail solicitation or some other type of publication—feel free to contact me.
