GPC -- Certified Grant Professional

I have a degree in International Business Administration, special training in grantwriting through courses from the University of Washington and the Grantsmanship Center, and over 20 years experience in non-profit and governmental management. My experience provides the perfect combination of program knowledge, research ability, financial management, and writing skills to be successful in grantwriting for a variety of organizations. As a Finance Director I have developed and controlled budgets of $250,000 to $10 million for many different organizations from children’s agencies to senior centers. As a City Administrator I have an understanding of governmental project needs and where to find funding for them. As an Executive Director I have had to balance finding money with providing services, and have come to understand the need to hire out specialties such as grantwriting.
