Special qualifications:
Over the past 14 years, I’ve obtained over $18 million for capital, operations and special projects needs for my clients, including:
• Support for a multi-year, multi-agency statewide tobacco prevention campaign from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation;
• An integrated program offering housing subsidies, education and intensive employment services for 1,400 low income families in King County;
• Establishment of nine Community Technology Centers bringing computer access and training to low income Seattle neighborhoods;
• Federal support for countywide youth substance abuse strategies in both Wahkiakum and Thurston Counties.
• Support for countywide strategies to reduce youth fire-setting in King County.
• Federal support for development of technical assistance systems to increase the effectiveness of youth serving agencies in Thurston County.
In addition to grantwriting, I offer community assessment, program planning and evaluation services to human service providers and funders. This allows me to provide well-rounded consultation to clients seeking to develop and put forward their strongest programs.
I enjoy and have significant experience in preparing successful federal grant applications. Eighty percent of my clients are repeat clients or are referred by satisfied clients. If you need responsive, flexible grantwriting or consulting, I hope you'll call me!
