I have 20 years' experience in nonprofit administration (including 17 years of grantwriting experience) and a master’s degree in writing. I have taught grantwriting and fundraising classes for several entities, including the University of Phoenix. I am well versed in prospect research, and my fundraising experience and skills run the gamut from special events to annual campaigns to online fundraising to government proposals. My additional areas of expertise include website development, computer training, board training, sponsorships, volunteer management, brochure and newsletter editing and design, community organizing, and strategic planning. I have served on boards of directors and have a good prospective of the needs and challenges of boards from both sides of the table. Also, having been an executive director, I understand the needs of the entire organization.
