Just How Important Are Relationships to Your Fundraising and Grantwriting Goals?

Join us for a candid conversation with two fundraising veterans about the power of building relationships with funders, both corporate and foundation.

Hear how they have built and sustained those relationships even in challenging times. Find out how stewarding those relationships can lead to more dollars in the door through both grants and gifts to support your mission and programs.

Jane Kenyon – Jane has been the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at University of Puget Sound for almost 15 years. During that time, she has generated more than $20 million in grant revenues from corporations and foundations. Prior to that she was the Director of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations at The Franciscan Foundation. The backbone of Jane’s work is relationship building with grantmakers. Jane is now looking forward to retirement in early August, when she hopes to be able to spend more time with her grandchildren and—COVID-19 permitting—travel, as well as continue her volunteer work to support immigrant and refugee causes.

Teri Tingvall Moore, CFRE – Teri most recently served as the Vice President in the Office of Philanthropy for the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound, where she remains in a part-time capacity. She has also worked for Pacific Lutheran University and Seattle Public Library and as the charitable contributions manager for Puget Sound Energy (then Puget Power). She is currently working as a sole proprietor in Philanthropic Relationship Services and lives in Black Diamond with her husband of 20+ years, Joe. Together they have a daughter, Nicole.
