Think Like a Major Gifts Officer

Behind every foundation are people -- program officers, family members and company employees.  People make the decisions about grant funding and, contrary to how it might seem, they really do want to be connected to your organization beyond the transactions of the grant application and report.

Fundraising is all about building and growing relationships.  But how do you get past the gate-keepers and into the ivory towers?  Christie Cotterill, CFRE, has answers and effective strategies to help you personally engage with key foundation staff, volunteers, and family members, over the course of a year.

Register today for this timely PSGA training and learn:

  • How to create the personal connections that lead to greater funding.
  • How to build an engagement calendar to ensure regular, constructive communication with foundations, beyond what’s required as part of a grant.
  • Ways to take positive connection steps (and how to avoid making negative ones).
