With a BA in community development and a background in at-risk youth programming, I started writing grants in 2015, helping a local non-profit bring Shakespeare in the Parks to our small town. Sitting in the audience that summer, I was hooked. Since then I have worked in non-profit leadership as an executive director, and served as a grant writer for small and large organizations, including managing the grants office at North Idaho College.

In 2017 I opened a small equine-assisted learning program in Sandpoint, ID, mainly serving children with autism, but also neurotypical people looking to grow emotionally.

I brought these vocations together in the summer of 2021 to open Good Horse Grants. I am honored to continue serving nonprofits with insight, integrity, and forward momentum – like the “good horse” that is my business’ namesake.
